Job Title: Part-Time Seasonal Maintenance Technician


Location: Scottsbluff, NE


Position Overview:

Open management is seeking a reliable and hardworking maintenance technician to assist with general upkeep and repair duties at one of our manufactured housing communities during the spring and summer months.This is a part-time seasonal role.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine groundskeeping, including mowing, trimming, and general landscape upkeep
  • Conduct basic maintenance and repair tasks (plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.)
  • Inspect and maintain common areas, roads, signage, and amenities
  • Assist with seasonal setup/cleanup tasks such as irrigation startup/shutoff, storm prep, or site clearing
  • Respond to minor resident maintenance requests as directed
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and safely used
  • Report major maintenance issues to the park manager

Position Requirements:

  • A High School diploma or GED required
  • Entry-level knowledge of basic maintenance preferred
  • Construction experience desired
  • Understand, read, write and speak English in order to follow basic instructions, take direction from supervisors, respond to routine questions and communicate effectively with clients, visitors and organization staff

Travel:

As part of the job responsibilities, this position requires the willingness and ability to conduct local travel as needed. This may involve running errands related to business operations and fulfilling various tasks that contribute to the smooth functioning of the park and tenant’s needs. The extent and frequency of travel will depend on the specific demands of the job and may vary over time.
