About the Role: 

We’re hiring a skilled, reliable, and customer-focused Residential Maintenance Technician to join our team at Brookwood and Riviera—two well-established manufactured home communities in Fargo, ND. If you're a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in your work, manages projects with precision, and delivers top-notch customer service, we want to talk to you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Complete maintenance requests efficiently and thoroughly—everything from plumbing and electrical to HVAC troubleshooting and carpentry.

  • Handle unit turns and home rehabs to prepare homes for new residents.

  • Lead and manage capital projects and community improvements with attention to timelines and budgets.

  • Maintain the overall appearance and safety of the community—curb appeal matters!

  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed.

  • Communicate clearly and courteously with residents, vendors, and property management.

  • Track materials, labor hours, and ensure cost-effective solutions.

We’re Looking For:

  • Hands-on experience in general residential or property maintenance.

  • Project management skills—you know how to scope, schedule, and execute larger tasks (rehabs, setups, repairs).

  • Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset—you’re approachable, respectful, and calm under pressure.

  • Highly organized and capable of juggling multiple priorities without missing deadlines.

  • Budget awareness—you understand cost vs. value and work efficiently with available resources.

  • Ability to work independently and take direction when needed.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus):

  • Manufactured housing experience

  • HVAC certification or strong HVAC knowledge

  • Plumbing or electrical licensure

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
