About the Role:
We’re looking for a dependable and skilled Residential Maintenance Technician to join our
growing team in Kansas City. This role is essential in supporting the upkeep and appeal of our
community through a mix of unit turns, mild-to-moderate rehabs, and general property
maintenance. If you're a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in your craftsmanship and
thrives in a team-focused environment, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
Unit Turns & Rehabs
● Prepare homes for new residents by handling cleaning, painting, flooring, fixture
replacements, and light remodeling
● Tackle rehab work such as drywall patching, cabinet or countertop replacements, and
trim installation
● Deliver work that meets company standards and stays within designated timelines
General Maintenance & Repairs
● Respond to service requests in occupied homes (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC
troubleshooting)
● Conduct preventive maintenance to keep systems running smoothly
● Handle tasks like utility hookups, skirting repairs, and exterior home upkeep
Community Support & Property Care
● Maintain cleanliness and safety in common areas and vacant lots
● Conduct move-in and move-out inspections, documenting any needed repairs
● Support seasonal landscaping and outdoor upkeep
What We’re Looking For:
● At least 2 years of experience in residential or manufactured home maintenance
● Well-rounded skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting
● Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
● A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
● Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather
● HVAC certification is a plus
● Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus
